Zepp Kuala Lumpur grooving to Bee Gees hits

KUALA LUMPUR, 3 Aug 2025:

The spirit of disco came alive in spectacular fashion at Zepp Kuala Lumpur on two nights – July 31 and Aug 1 – as internationally-acclaimed band Saturday Night Bee Gees made their highly anticipated Asian debut at Zepp Kuala Lumpur, with a performance that got the audience grooving at their seats and along the aisles.

Titled Saturday Night – Celebrating Bee Gees, the concert was a shimmering time capsule that whisked fans back to the golden age of disco. From the opening number, audiences were swept into a wave of nostalgia – clapping, singing and dancing to timeless classics like Stayin’ Alive, Night Fever, How Deep Is Your Love and more.

But the night wasn’t just about great music – it was a celebration with heart. The premiere show was held in aid of the Tuanku Ja’afar Education Trust, adding a charitable beat to the night’s rhythm. Additionally, organiser Milestone Production also lent its support to the “Kurang Manis” campaign under Diabetes Malaysia in efforts to bring awareness to healthier lifestyles.

The evening was made even more special with the addition of home-grown talents.

Singer Eryn Gani wowed the crowd with her dynamic range across genres from pop to classical. Meanwhile, percussionist Ashley Choong Siew Mun – who has worked with legends such as Michael Jackson, Herbie Hancock, Mongo Santamaria and Miles Davis – brought a rhythmic brilliance that lit up the stage.

The sparkle extended beyond the music. The band’s costumes featured a unique local twist, with the female lead, Carol, wearing a piece of Malaysian artisan batik that added an extra touch of flair to the already dazzling concert.

Supported by partners including Maybank, Lite FM, Cosmo Hotel, RW Nutriogreen, Rhymba Hills, and more, Saturday Night – Celebrating Bee Gees wasn’t just a concert. It was a heartfelt, high-energy celebration of one of music’s most iconic groups, brought to life for fans across generations.
