KUALA LUMPUR, 30 March 2025:
The unthinkable has happened. It has snowed in Malaysia, covering the Petronas Twin Towers and the surrounding KLCC area.
Yes, indeed. Experience minus 5-degree Celsius temperatures, and frolic in REAL snow at i-City’s newest attraction, WynSnow.
Located on level 48 of Wyndham Suites KLCC, there is now no need for Malaysians to rely on AI filters to create their “snow” moments. The 24,500 sq ft winter wonderland is the real deal.
Make snowmen, snow angels, have a snowball fight, slide down a two-storey slide, and ride a bumper car on ice in the snow play area. The adjoining event space is ideal for celebrating birthdays, engagements and magical proposals in an unforgettable, immersive winter setting.
And the best part about this winter escape? The entrance fee: a mere RM50 per person, or package of RM95 per couple and RM180 for a group of four.
For the first time, such an immersive, real-snow experience has been brought to Kuala Lumpur’s vibrant city centre—no plane tickets, no passport required.
The snow here isn’t just for show. Visitors will be able to feel the feathery lightness of the snowfall on their skin and hear it crunching beneath their feet. The experience is a true departure from KL’s usual tropical warmth.
Operated by I-Bhd – operator of the iconic SnoWalk in i-City – WynSnow takes things to a new level with the latest immersive technology. As you exit the elevator on the 48th floor, you’re welcomed by a 3D snowfall effect, setting the tone for an enchanting experience.
After playing in the snow, guests can test their nerves in the outdoor area by walking across a simulated glacial pool that gives the illusion of cracking ice beneath their feet.
And of course, no winter wonderland is complete without memorable photo ops. Capture magical moments inside a life-sized snow globe with the Petronas Twin Towers in the background, or pose from another angle with the sleek silhouette of TRX framing your shot.
Every corner of WynSnow is designed to delight the senses – and your social media followers.
Whether you’re seeking a unique family outing, a backdrop for stunning content, or the perfect place to pop the question, WynSnow promises a snowy escape like no other. This Hari Raya, let it snow – right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
This is probably the only spot in Kuala Lumpur where you will be able to capture Kuala Lumpur skyline through snow-frosted lenses!
Points to note:
- Bring you own warm winter-wear, none are provided to avoid sharing and also foster better hygiene.
- All visitors must wear footwear covers outside the snow area to prevent tracking in dirt and other contaminants
- The soft opening from 1 April 2025 only features the lower level of a real-snow play zone for interactive activities
- Coming in June 2025 is the full WynSnow offering where the upper level will present a versatile function space ideal for corporate workshops, leadership retreats, or creative breakouts. Human Resources Ministry secretary-general Datuk Azman Mohd Yusof lauded WynSnow. “This is how we can start thinking about the future of training—it’s not going to be confined to classrooms anymore.”
