To help foster patriotism and adherence to Rukun Negara principles, PLUS Malaysia Bhd is organising an Instagram campaign till Sept 4.
Submission is via a video or children below 12 – your own, relatives, neighbours or friends – with Instagram hashtag “#Jiwai Rukun Negara #PLUS” and winners will get RM10,000 cash prizes in the form of SSPN-i savings accounts.
PLUS is also livening the Merdeka month celebration with Jalur Gemilang put up prominently at all rest areas along its highways.
And to reiterate the history of Rukun Negara, PLUS chairman Tan Sri Mohd Sheriff Mohd Kassim said the explanatory display have been put up at all its 24 rest areas and two overhead bridge restaurants.
“The Rukun Negara visuals are aimed at reminding the people of the spirit of unity and sense of belonging among Malaysians, especially those making a stop at the R& R areas.”
PLUS, in collaboration with the National Archives, is also organising the ‘Rukun Negara dan Kemerdekaan’ exhibition for a three-month period at the Sungai Buloh overhead bridge gallery – aimed at providing better understanding of the importance of Rukun Negara to all Malaysians.
