The Petronas cardless Mesra Rewards loyalty programme was officially launched yesterday – formalising the fuel kiosk purchases scheme trial of using just mobile phone numbers, in addition to the physical member card and the Setel app.
Chief operating officer Khalil Muri said customers can earn and redeem Mesra points by simply keying in their mobile number at the fuel pump. They can also do this at the cashier counter before refuelling, or when making in-store purchases at Kedai Mesra outlets.
Further, Setel app users can earn Mesra points for their Kedai Mesra purchases by simply scanning a barcode. This process includes redemptions of benefits – such as grocery vouchers, digital streaming subscription, F&B, hotel stays and travel insurance – depending on the loyalty points available.
Marking this launch is the Mesra Bonanza 2023 campaign in collaboration with Visa from Sunday Oct 15 until 15 Jan 2024. The three-month campaign offers prizes worth more than RM700,000 – including the grand prize of an all-expense paid trip of a lifetime to Paris.
