New Zealand’s ‘Made with Care’ global campaign to highlight the unique proposition of this southern nation’s food products has landed in Malaysia and is being presented in conjunction with the Food Purveyor’s ‘New Zealand Fair’ across the latter retailer’s 34 Ben’s Independent Grocer and Village Grocer outlets.
The promotion is also on the Bites online shopping platform, running till Nov 12, as the New Zealand foods campaign reinforces the message that its products address sustainability concerns in terms of packaging, pesticide usage and genetically modified produce.
New Zealand Trade Commissioner to Malaysia, Suzy Fewtrell, said this ‘Made with Care’ initiative is “an embodiment of values truly unique to New Zealand”.
She emphasised that New Zealand exports “products that the world can trust for its authenticity, honesty and quality – attributes that we believe Malaysians will truly appreciate”.
“This campaign reflects our ongoing commitment to ‘Kaitiakitanga’ – our Maori heritage – which is our deep connection to the land and sea. Caring for the people, place and planet, not just for now, but also for generations to come.”
Among the brands showcased during this campaign at the Malaysia retailer are Ceres Organics, Comvita, Cookie Time, Dairyworks, Griffin’s Nice & Natural, Manuka Health, Pure South, Villa Maria, Whittaker’s, Yealand’s and Zespri.
Fewtrell noted these brands feature some of New Zealand’s wide variety of products enjoyed by many – including fresh kiwifruits, premium manuka honey, organic apple cider vinegar, natural cheese, healthy snack bars, delicious chocolates, scrumptious cookies and grass-fed lamb.
Equally appealing are the exquisite wines – especially the sauvignon blanc varieties – which come from the Marlborough vineyards of Yealand’s and the pioneering Villa Maria.
