Free tickets for Nicol David exhibition match with stars

KUALA LUMPUR, 6 Dec 2019:

‘The Dream Remains,’ an exhibition match event and the brainchild of eight-time world champion Datuk Nicol Ann David, will take place on Dec 19 and 20 at the Nicol David Arena of the National Squash Centre in Kuala Lumpur Sports City, Bukit Jalil.

It had always been one of her dreams to organise an exhibition match, Nicole said.

“I wish to motivate our junior players and all squash enthusiasts to take up the sport that changed my life. As part of the experience for the spectators, I will also be making an appearance by playing on court with the future junior players of Malaysia. It will be my first time playing here in Malaysia after my retirement.

“This initiative is to bring about more squash interest in Malaysia and a special moment for me to share with the crowd and junior players from all around the country. Come by for an exciting event and don’t miss out on all the squash action coming soon,” she said as quoted in the Professional Squash Association website, PSAworldtour.com.

The exhibition event would be joined by four women professional players, namely, Malaysia’s world number 24 Low Wee Wern, Sarah-Jane Perry of England (seventh), Tinne Gilis of Belgium (14th ) and Hollie Naughton of Canada (28th).

The two-day event is open to the public and entrance is free.
