Human remains found in crocodile

LAHAD DATU, 7 Nov 2017: 

The body parts of a man who was reportedly attacked by a crocodile on Sunday was found at Sungai Ladang Sabah Mas, Phase 3, about 70km from here, yesterday morning.

Sabah Fire and Rescue Operation Centre said in a statement the organ parts – believed to be of Anuar Sabone – were found by the search and rescue (SAR) team in an operation around 10.50am.

“The organ parts were found 7km from the scene of the crocodile attack and was sent to the police for further action. The SAR operation which involved firemen and the Civil Defence Force was ended at 4.05pm by the Lahad Datu police chief,” said the statement.

The victim was reported missing when he went fishing at Sungai Ladang Sabah Mas and feared to have been devoured by a crocodile.
