KUALA LUMPUR, 15 July 2017:
The Malaysian Council of Federal Datuks (MDPM) will propose to the government to set up a hotline for the community to lodge complaints regarding the use of false titles or those that are not recognised.
MPDM president Tan Sri Danny Ooi said the matter would be discussed at the council’s exco meeting as an effort to champion the integrity of recipients of awards that carried titles.
“MDPM fully supports government efforts to to strictly enforce the act. What is important is its implementation. We will discuss at the council’s exco meeting to propose the setting up of a hotline for complaints.”
