Deepavali travel tickets still available on KTM trains

KUALA LUMPUR, 16 Oct 2017: 

KTM Bhd (KTMB) today urged those returning  home for the Deepavali celebrations to use its Electric Train Service (ETS).

Chief executive officer Mohd Rani Hisham Samsudin said  41% of ETS tickets for travel period between Oct 12 and 22 were still available.

“So far, 59% of the ETS tickets have been sold,  while for the intercity train service, 48% of the tickets have been sold,” he said when during the distribution of snacks to passengers onboard its ETS train to Padang Besar by  special adviser to the Transport Minister, Tan Sri M.Kayveas, today.

In conjunction with the Deepavali celebration, the ETS service has introduced a special menu for its passengers from today until Nov 10, such as chicken biryani rice, ‘nasi minyak’, ‘aloo gobi’, and ‘masala ayam’.
