Toblerone-inspired Xmas at IPC

PETALING JAYA, 28 Nov 2019:

IPC Shopping Centre will be taking shoppers and visitors to an enchanted festive journey filled sweetness and joy for this Christmas period, in collaboration with Swiss chocolate Toblerone.

Almost like a visit into Roald Dahl’s novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, IPC patrons will be surrounded by Toblerone chocolate decorations throughout the wonderland set up at the IPC concourse area – which also features a walk-in giant lighted crystal globe that has a 15 feet-high Christmas tree inside.

Amid the bright and snowy Christmas decorations, plus a kiddy train ride, various activities and workshops during the weekends throughout this festive period – and of course, dance performances.

Marking its 16th anniversary here, the mall is also offering patrons more through its smartphone app – its new loyalty programme called the IPC Tack Club will be available from Dec 2, for shoppers to enjoy so much more rewards and perks. (‘Tack’ means ‘Thank You’ in Swedish.)

“Offering the ability to accrue, track and redeem rewards or perks in real-time is no longer a distinction — it’s an expectation” said general manager Karyn Lim.

“The new feature will also integrate IPC Små Club for kids, where existing members can renew their membership for free on the app itself.”

As a welcome gift, she said IPC Tack Club members will enjoy free one ice-cream from Ikea while new and existing IPC Små Club will receive a freebie upon signing up and renewing their membership respectively.

IPC Tack Club members can further redeem one set of 2020 IPC table calendar and Toblerone Milk 100g with a minimum spend of RM50 in a single receipt or also get a cooler bag with a minimum spend of RM400 in a maximum combination of two receipts.

To mark the 16th anniversary, IPC Shopping Centre will treat 16 lucky shoppers to a ‘mission’ that would score them a chance to win RM16,000 worth of prizes from participating tenants such as All IT Hypermarket, Ben’s Independent Grocer (B.I.G), Happi Kiddo, Harvey Norman, Ikea, Popular Bookstore and Spotlight on Dec 15 at 3pm.
