The latest Xiaomi flagship Mi Note 10 and the pro version will be on sale in Malaysia from this Saturday, boasting of the highest digital camera sensor resolution so far.
“With the Samsung ISOcell Bright HMX 108MP sensor, Mi Note 10 features the highest resolution of any smartphone on the market – 12,032 x 9,024 pixels. For the first time ever, the 108MP camera can produce billboard-level prints up to 4.24m high,” said Allen An, Xiaomi country manager of Malaysia and Singapore.
Speaking at today’s launch, An said the five different lenses at the back of the new device – a 108MP wide-angle lens, 5MP telephoto lens, 12MP telephoto lens, 20MP ultra wide-angle lens, and a 2 MP macro lens – enables a seamless zoom experience from 0.6x to 50x without compromising image quality.
Software for these cameras have also been enhanced, together with doubling of optical image stabilisation – which can be seen in RAW format multi-frame noise reduction for images, along with 960 frames-per-second macro slow-motion video and 4K video with the ultra-wide angle lens, he added.
The device itself features 6.47-inch curved AMOLED display and like other devices with similar screens, a screen replacement programme is offered, with Xiaomi’s worth RM78.90 for the first year.
An said a whole load of other enhancements have also been made with MiUI 11 pre-installed – ranging from “Always-On Display” personalisation and sounds – all backed by a 5,260mAh battery that supports 30W fast-charging.
For the launch sales period till Dec 15, every Mi Note 10 customer gets a purchase-with-purchase discount of RM100 for any in-store Xiaomi product at Mi Stores while the Pro version customer also gets free one-year screen replacement protection.
Available in three colours of Midnight Black, Glacier White and Aurora Green, the 6GB RAM+128GB ROM Mi Note 10 retails for RM2,099 while the 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM Mi Note Pro retails for RM2.499.
