Andrew Lee virtuoso Zoom show on July 9

KUALA LUMPUR, 6 July 2020:

So we’re in the middle of a pandemic – but that hasn’t stopped Malaysia’s number one illusionist and mentalist Andrew Lee from staying connected with audiences around the world.

His Andrew Lee Virtual Magic Show premiers this Wednesday July 9 and once you get tickets for US$20 each, be punctual, yeah? (He doesn’t operate on Malaysian time!)

What he does during the 35-minute virtual show (Cyber-RT got an exclusive preview)  is interact with his audience and the audience with each other. So global epidemic or not, you get your healthy magical dose of psychological manipulation, albeit through a screen!

“Don’t tie your mind in knots,” is the first thing Lee tells his audience, even as you simultaneously marvel at his visual knot trick. (The mind games he plays!)

His second trick involves colours, as “colours play an important role in our psychology” he announces before correctly predicting which virtual audience member would choose the red, blue or yellow piece of paper.

His next trick – the five symbol card shuffling trick is, quite simply put – amazing. Even as you wonder how he impossibly managed to correctly match them up despite so much random audience shuffling and reshuffling.

The final trick makes use of the simple phone calculator, and is the ultimate test of connection! Again using random numbers – birthdates and heights – from at least eight different people, he very quickly manages to work out the right answer to match a pre-written message.

Because the magic is done up close, it’s a bit like having a personal magician performing tricks just for you in your living room. Just don’t forget to give him virtual applause or a thumbs-up to let him know you’re enjoying the show.
