KUALA LUMPUR, 16 Oct 2018:
GoCar Malaysia reinforced its partnership with Shell stations here – officially opening its 100th stop at the Taman Connaught outlet here today.
Building on the partnership begun in April last year, GoCar Malaysia now operates three main hubs – Klang Valley, Johor Baru and Penang – and almost half of its 230 pickup points and stops are at Shell stations.
GoCar is also available in Langkawi, said chief executive officer Alan Cheah – adding that the firm – backed by the Mayflower Group – is continuing to grow by adding to its fleet of 440 cars as demand rises.
Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd and Shell Timur Sdn Bhd managing director Shairan Huzani Husain: “At Shell, we are always striving to innovate our products and services to ensure that our customers leave the stations happy and satisfied.
“Our collaboration with GoCar is first of its kind that enables us to offer all Malaysians an additional service under one roof – customers can now refuel, refresh, rejuvenate and enjoy the convenience of picking up a GoCar before they start their journeys.”
To mark this milestone, GoCar and Shell are rewarding Malaysians until Dec 15 at 30 selected Shell stations – where customers get 50% off their GoCar bookings, discount capped at RM30 when they spend a minimum of RM5 (for all items excluding Touch ‘n Go reload, mobile reload, and tobacco) at Shell Select stores.
Additionally, customers can redeem a can of Coca-Cola at RM1.50 when they pick up their GoCar at the Shell stations.More details at http://bit.ly/gocar-shell-partnership.
