7,000 HK return air tickets from Cathay Pacific

KUALA LUMPUR, 15 March 2023:

Aiming to rekindle its tourism sector after pandemic restrictions were fully lifted, Hong Kong Tourism Board’s (HKTB) ‘Hello Hong Kong’ campaign will see 500,000 free return air tickets given to global visitors in the “World of Winners” campaign sponsored by Airport Authority Hong Kong.

For this campaign, Cathay Pacific will be offering to residents across Southeast Asia 80,000 round-trip air tickets to Hong Kong – with the offers starting from March 1 in Thailand, Singapore and the Philippines.

The airline has reserved 7,000 return economy class air tickets to Hong Kong for Malaysian applicants starting from noon on Thursday March 16 and ending on March 22, or earlier if all available air tickets are snapped up.

Applications will need to be submitted via the Cathay Pacific designated webpage, where applicants must be aged 18 and older plus be a Cathay member. Travel blackout periods apply and winners will be responsible for any taxes and surcharges applicable to the air ticket.

Submissions are limited to one entry only. The winners will be announced on the campaign website, and they will also receive an email with details on how to redeem their prize.

Beyond the free air tickets offer, an array of enticing welcoming offers from over 16,000 outlets across the city have been put together by the HKTB and the tourism and hospitality sectors to welcome back visitors.

Among which, at the initial stage, at least 1 million “Hong Kong Goodies” visitor consumption vouchers will be given out, covering a complimentary welcome drink at participating bars, restaurants, and hotels, or a cash voucher to be redeemed in the transportation, culinary and retail sectors, as well as attractions.
