KUALA LUMPUR, 5 Oct 2017:
The Arcoris Plaza opening early next year in Mont’Kiara will feature a number of speciality retailers who will be making their presence felt in Malaysia for the first time.
Project developer UEM Sunrise Bhd has successfully wooed some of these new retailers, based on its track record of other innovative retail offerings like Publika and Solaris Dutamas, said managing director and chief executive officer Anwar Syahrin Abdul Ajib.
“Arcoris Plaza will not only become the hang-out spot for the community of all ages to come together, but it will go further to become the next landmark that changes the whole landscape of Mont’Kiara to greater prominence.”
To this end, The Majapahit, (Thai-Indonesian fusion restaurant), Kumar (Indian fine dining restaurant), Japan Grocer, Children Discovery House and Tribe will be among the anchor retailers housed within the four-storeyed plaza, he added.
Chief operating officer for commercial Raymond Cheah said: “To-date, we have leased out 90% of our retail units and we have garnered an exciting mix of retailers to cater to the needs of the communities in and around Mont’Kiara.”
He said Arcoris Plaza retailers are set to enjoy heavy footfalls from offices in the vicinity – including Solaris Dutamas, Plaza Damas, Desa Sri Hartamas, Solaris Mont’Kiara, One Mont’Kiara and Plaza Mont’Kiara – plus the many residences in and around Mont’Kiara as well as the surrounding areas.
H added that the project features the first hotel in the area – Arcoris Mont’Kiara is the Hyatt House, a 298-key residentially inspired, extended stay hotel on top of the business suites within this mixed development.
Moving forward, UEM Sunrise is further developing its third retail concept at Radia Retail – one of the three components of the fully integrated mixed-development Radia Bukit Jelutong.
Once opened in Shah Alam early next year, it is envisioned to be an entertainment and social focal point for Bukit Jelutong – being inspired by the energetic boulevard of Las Ramblas in Barcelona, Spain.
