Gardenia Bakeries (KL) Sdn Bhd today announced the rebrand of the value-priced loaf, which had almost disappeared off shelves from around two years ago and was especially noticed around the time when the first Movement Control Order was imposed in March last year.
Rebranded as Gardenia Bonanza Keluarga, the bakery said the name change is to reflect its support for the Keluarga Malaysia campaign recently launched by the federal government.
In a statement, it said the “more affordable 500g white loaf is priced at RM2.75. At 55sen per 100g, Gardenia Bonanza Keluarga is more economical and suitable for bigger families compared to Gardenia Original Classic which costs 70sen per 100g.”
The Gardenia Bonanza Keluarga 500g loaf will be on retail shelves by Dec 16. “We assure a sufficient supply of the Gardenia Bonanza Keluarga 500g offering.”
