AirAsia Japan finally takes off on Oct 29

KUALA LUMPUR, 16 Oct 2017: 

AirAsia Japan, the Japanese affiliate of the Malaysian low-cost carrier, will commence its maiden service from Nagoya to Sapporo on Oct 29 – more than three years after the partnership was announced.

In a statement today, AirAsia Japan said the twice-daily service would connect AirAsia Japan’s main hub in Nagoya to the capital of northern Hokkaido prefecture.

Chief executive officer Osamu Hata, said to celebrate the occasion, AirAsia would offer its guests a special promotional one-way fare from only ¥5 from after midnight till Sunday Oct 22 for travel between 29 Oct 2017 and 24 March 2018.

“The airline is honoured to be the first to be based in Nagoya’s Chubu Centrair International Airport.

“AirAsia Japan is committed to connecting as many guests as possible at low fares to AirAsia’s extensive network, as well as bridging communities and cultures for the benefit of the local economy.”
