Undertaking a different initiative this Ramadan, Cadbury Dairy Milk and Mydin retail stores are joining hands with Malaysian families through the ‘Kuih Raya Dari Hati’ campaign to complement the goodness of the month.
The event is to rally Malaysians to create history by baking over 25,000 Cadbury Tarts to achieve the “Most Cadbury Chocolate Tarts Baked at an Event” title in The Malaysia Book of Records.
“Cadbury Dairy Milk wants to provide those observing this holy month the opportunity to create memories together through baking and sharing the goodness with others,” said Narmeen Khan, managing director for Malaysia & Singapore, Mondelez International.
Mydin Mohamed Holdings Bhd managing director Datuk Wira Ameer Ali Mydin has kindly offered four outlets to host this ‘Kuih Raya Dari Hati’:
- Mydin Bukit Mertajam, Penang (12 March)
- Mydin Subang Jaya, Selangor (13 March)
- Mydin Tunjong, Kelantan (16 March)
- Mydin Mutiara Rini, Johor (17 March)
The baking sessions will feature celebrity chefs Datuk Fazley Yaakob, Sue Razip and Mohd Shafiq Bin Zulkarnain. Separately, Wonda Coffee has successfully made its mark in the Guinness World Records for ‘The Largest Online Video Chain of People Performing Football Juggle’, participated by football enthusiasts across Malaysia, with 730 videos altogether.
Though the national team did not make it to the latest FIFA World Cup tournament, Malaysians are known for their devotion to football.
As such, Wonda Coffee attempted to bring Malaysian fans together to break the previous record for “The Most People in an Online Chain Passing a Football” by taking it a step further and doing a football juggle.
Those who took part include some of Malaysia’s world-class football talents such as Mohd Faiz Subri, Safiq Rahim, Qhouirunnisa, Steffi Sidhu and more.
